Online Marketing Jungle

Have you ever asked yourself what your goal is for you online marketing business? Now, I don’t know if you’re in the game for some extra cash, if you want to make a decent living out of it or get rich. All three options are possible; it all depends on how much time you want to spend learning how to play the game and doing the hard work necessary to get the ball rolling. But you should know this because it's very important; if you don’t know what you’re doing you may find yourself in a bad spot before you can say bad spot.  

I’m not trying to scare anyone of by making you believe it’s dirty business or it’s all a scam, because that’s far from the truth. I’m simply trying to give some good advice to those who need it! If you’re a new beginner with little or none experience and knowledge about online marketing it may seem like an online jungle. Trust me when I say it can be, and I know exactly how it feels to be lost in that jungle! I have done my share of mistakes along the way and have learned my lessons the hard way, I don’t want anyone else to make the same mistakes as I have. In a jungle there are lots of predators, same goes for online marketing and any other business more or less. Just please hear my warning and DO NOT become easy prey!

Let me tell you, in short, my story about trying to get started as an online marketer. I was pretty naïve when I dove into the completely unknown business, and you could say I got into a couple unpleasant situations. To make a long story short; I bought training programs that were complete scams, did lots of time consuming work that didn’t pay off at all, spent hours ripping my hair out trying to figure things out… stuff like that. Very frustrating and not too fun to talk about! The good part though is that it did teach me some important lessons; to be critical, don’t fall for all the promises and sweet talk and to actually do the work I had to do in order to make some magic happen. People who want to sell you their products are always telling you how easy it is, you just have to click here and click there and you’ll be making loads of cash. Naaaha! It’s not that simple!  If it were that easy everyone would be doing it!

Anyway, I don’t know why but I kept trying and it finally paid off! The last training program I bought was to be my last try. I said to myself enough was enough and I was getting tired of never getting anywhere. I didn’t actually realize how "lost" I really was before signing on with the Millionaire Society and getting their training program. The program is so professional and has such a good material for everyone from new beginners to more advances marketers, it made me realize that all the other stuff I had bought in the past was junk. Junk that was only contributing to getting me nowhere while making others (that did not deserve it) rich! I had spent so much time and energy on useless cr*p that I felt the Millionaire Society was too good to be true. But it's for real and I’m so thankful for all the REAL help they have provided to finally make my online marketing business head in the right direction.

Now that you know what I have experienced you probably understand my desire to warn others. I strongly recommend seeking help if you’re inexperienced, but be critical and don’t fall for the tricks and scams.

Online Marketing gone Offline

Maybe you already are an online marketer or perhaps you’re interested in becoming one? What you should know anyhow, if you don’t already know this, is that there are a variety of effective ways to promote online products other than sitting inside with your computer posting links.

I thought it would be interesting to go outside and meet people on the streets, in shopping centers or any other random place, and just simply talk to them about being an online marketer. I wasn’t sure how to go about it at first but I finally dared to dive in and embrace the challenge. I’m not sorry! Some people seemed genuinely interested and others probably didn’t even take me seriously at all. One guy was even downright rude, like I was annoying him by breathing his air or something, so you really have to be able to handle all sorts of reactions. Anyway, the hours literally flew and for the most I had lots of fun talking to people about online marketing and what it’s all about. Surprisingly few knew anything at all about what it is; only 1 out of 20 perhaps had a clue to what I was talking about. So I feel like I have at least spread the word around a bit.

It gave me a challenge to try to explain in a simple fashion to not scare off potential customers with too much information at once. There’s a huge amount of info on the topic so try to keep it as simple as possible. My goal was and is to spike the interest of becoming online marketers, since the product I’m promoting in fact is an online marketing training program. So plant the seed and if it grows, if it doesn’t… well you can’t force it! You’ll just have to improve your skills.

At first it was very difficult because I wasn’t sure where to start, but as I talked to more and more people I felt more relaxed and words started flowing easier after repeating myself 50 times. I had printed out some business cards and flyers on forehand and they came in very handy. I found it a lot easier if I had something to presents while giving my little speech. It also seemed to make people more interested in what I had to say.

By the end of the day I had hung up 5 flyers with the tags you can rip off at the bottom, had talked to maybe 50-60 people and handed out lots of business cards. I call that success, and even though only one or two of those 50-60 buy you products, that’s money in the bank and the word is out. People talk and may pass it on to someone who’s interested.

So this was kind of like the test drive just to see if the effort could amount to something. I definitley not dissapointed and I think I'll try some more offline promoting soon :)

Let me tell you about why I got into online marketing. Trust me, there’s a good reason and you want to know!

For me living isn’t only about existing and doing the boring, normal day to day routine, I never want to get stuck in the 9 to 5 grind with no time for anything but work, eat and sleep! For me living is grasping the opportunities to really live your life to the fullest. Be happy and healthy, earn enough money to go where you want in life and still have enough time on your hands to make it possible.

So I thought to myself, how can I make this happen? Well, it was obvious I needed a job that would allow me to be my own boss. I needed a flexible job that would make it possible to work when it was convenient for me, a job which I could make a good income and still have time on my hands to actually spend some of the money. Does that job actually exist or is it too good to be true? After lots of research and literally ransacking the internet for answers I found that it does exist, and man was I exited to find out about online marketing. But believe me it’s not a piece of pie if you want to get somewhere! As with almost anything else you need to make an effort to learn, and develop skills to put in to action what you know. The trick though is to ask for help from someone who knows the business, I even paid for help and I still am just because it saves me a lot of time doing my own research on finding new tricks and methods to earn money on the internet. So you may be thinking; why not just work a normal job, why bother with online marketing if it's going to be so much work anyway? Keep reading, you're just getting to the good part.

When you get to the point that you know what you're doing you can make a lot of the work run on autopilot. This means that the money starts running into your bank account 24/7 without you having to lift a finger, because you have done the work on forehand and are now reaping the goods from it! You could be out having fun or fast asleep and still making big bucks. That’s how online marketing makes it possible to earn enough money to live a good life and still have enough time to spend it!

So the point is, if you want a job that will give you a chance to live your life free of financial burdens, do what you want, go where you want, live where you want, travel where you want and when you want, more time for family friends and hobbies, this could very well be your answer :)
